Accountant

Position Overview:

The Accounting will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, improving processes, and providing insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience is an asset)
• Full cycle accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
