American Thermowell spectacle blinds are crafted from a single piece of plate, delivering the strength, quality, and precision needed for demanding applications. Also known as “spectacle flanges,” these blinds come in various configurations, types, and bore designs. Spades and ring spacers, similar to blinds but not attached, are used to reduce weight and are ideal for larger flanges, where the spade alone can be several hundred pounds. This separation helps eliminate excess weight and is beneficial in space-constrained areas.
